Clothing;

While in school, Nepha wears the traditional Beacon outfit, not much else too it. In the summer, she normally wears this outfit. While in the winter she dons an oversized, soft, gray pullover hoodie, black tights, and boots (think similar to Yuri from DDLC's casual outfit but with a hoodie instead of a sweater).

After the Fall of Beacon, Nepha sports the nun-esque outfit seen in most of the images on this wiki, the only difference between the images provided is that the clothing appears more ragged. The right arm of her outfit hangs loosely. Many of her Semblance's butterflies find themselves living within the hole where her eye used to be.

full description;

Nepha is softspoken and reserved, but not necessarily timid. She's passionate for the things she cares about most, whether it be ideals, friends, or anything else. For the most part, she doesn't mind talking to new people, and gets along well with others. Nepha enjoys the company of others, even if she doesn't appear to be (i.e. not talking much). She prefers listening as opposed to speaking, but can go on long tangents occasionally.

backstory;

Put into an orphanage around a couple months after she was born. Her single mother couldn't handle raising a kid on her own.

Nepha's Semblance awoke at a young age. The orphanage she was living at doubled as a smaller hunters and huntresses academy, so the daily combat training eventually awakened it within her. Near the end of her pre-teens, something awful occurred. She wanted to see if she could apply her Semblance to herself (see Semblance section), and she could. Due to the extremely violent nature of her Semblance early on, almost immediately after the Semblance took effect on her she attacked her fellow students, gravely injuring a few and even killing one. She fled Mistral, it was the only thing that she felt that she could do. She couldn't go back, not now. She made her way across countries and eventually to Vale, pledging to never go back to Mistral, and never to use her Semblance on herself, bad things happen when she does that.

Once she got into her mid to late teens, Nepha joined Beacon, wanting to protect the people and repay for her sins from her youth. She used to be really outgoing as a kid however, murder changes you. She became more reserved and found herself looking into more books and finding more knowledge about everything she could find. During the Fall of Beacon, Nepha finally uses her Semblance on herself again as a last ditch effort. She was separated from her team and surrounded by Grimm, she had no other choice. During this she lost all sense of self, she became a killing machine, mowing down Grimm left and right. In a full-of-herself state of mind, Nepha dropped her guard just enough for a Lancer just in time to get her left eye. After this, all of her sense od self returned, sending her into a fight or flight, in which she chose flight which only worsened her condition. In a panicked frenzy she just kept running, now avoiding confrontation instead of actively seeking it. As she was running for her life, her right arm got caught by... something, on the outskirts of Beacon. It was definitely grimm but it was a kind she had never before. It took her arm and ran off after Nepha barely managed to fend it off. She was barely able to make her way over to a village outside of the main city of Vale. After she fully (or near dully) recovered, she began working as a bounty hunter, traveling around the smaller and lest defended villages of Vale, protecting them and helping them out however she can.

Weaponry;

Aura and Semblance;

Nepha's aura color is blue. Her aura is quite abundant, not quite as abundant as someone like Jaune, but she still has a lot of it.

Nepha's Semblance allows her to apply an offensive buff to either her team or herself. The effects of thus buff vary depending on whether she buffs herself or other people.

Combat Style;

Before the Fall of Beacon, Nepha stays back and uses her Semblance to buff her team, attacking enemies that only get close or shooting them as they get close to her. After the Fall, Nepha's fighting style becomes much more aggressive, flying around and swinging her heavy greatsword at full strength at anything she deems enemy. She rarely buffs her team anymore, mostly increasing her own power.
