The Grand Seal

A cursed relic of a forgotten era, the Grand Seal is a weapon previously weld by a supposedly corrupt Elderkin banished to Myskaviir. They had found out that their powers, which normally can only absorb the powers of felled Elders, could be used to aborb the Link of slain humans and powers of the other races of Canvas (other than Demihumans). After learning of this ability, the Elderkin began taking on bounties and tasks that extended beyond simply taking care of rampaging Elder Monsters and began headhunting and taking on bounties whose primary target was more human to expand their arsenal. This is why they were banished Myskaviir, assumed to have been killed in the dangerous conditions of that Artist-forsaken land.

The actuality of this banishment was far greater in the Elderkin's favor. In the land of Myskaviir they thrived, garnering more powers for themselves from the horrid lifeforms that inhabit that continent. Due to their heroic acts on the continent, they grew close with the kitsune population and was revered as a hero. Eventually, the Elderkin grew old and passed away. In their dying moments, the kitsune monks bound the Elderkin's ability into a weapon that they deemed the Grand Seal. The monks tested and experimented with the weapon, learning that its sealing properties now sealed into individual items, instead of the weapon itself. After much debate, the group decided that Omamori would be the best item to imbue powers into. Due to their size, they can easily be stored in a pouch the weilder carries.

After the testing period had ended, the Grand Seal remained relatively untouched as an actual weapon, and was treated more like a family heirloom, being passed down generations of one monk family. For more than ten generations, the weapon laid without a single drop of blood touching its blade. That is until [name], a woman who wanted more in life than to just be a monk. As the middle born with no elemental powers, and only female child of a group of five siblings, she always felt to be ignored, her lack of drive to join the monks most likely also played into this. Eventually, in a spur of the moment decision in the middle of the night, she fled from home, taking the Grand Seal with her.

[name] eventually found herself becoming a bounty hunter and travelling across the tribal areas of the land surrounding her home floating city of Tengoku, gaining a plethora of powers, including but not limited to many of the elemental powers that are inherent with most kitsune. After a few years of this work, she eventually left Myskaviir and made her way to the continent of Valeia where she primarly found herself working within the kingdom of Sukaar, extending her little "business" to more than just killing.
